TeamXbox (http://www.teamxbox.com/) has posted their hands-on preview (http://previews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1435/NHL-07/p1) including updated screenshots (http://screenshots.teamxbox.com/gallery/1516/NHL-07/p1/) of NHL 07 for the Xbox 360.

Here's a bit from the article...
The graphics are simply outstanding, helped along by the hockey-accurate animations. Goalies are particularly impressive, as they watch pucks into their gloves, and properly plant a foot before changing direction for a trickling biscuit.

The controls have a steep learning curve, but it’s clear to see that, with some practice, pulling out fully analog maneuvers will be a cinch. Say goodbye to the scripted one timer, wrap around, or 360, and say hello to complete, skillful control in NHL 07.

The updated controls sound quite interesting. But, I think I'll have to rent this baby first because NHL 2K06 for the 360 was a bit of a disappointment for me. I should have listened to bap.

It really sounds like EA is getting their act together. Back to the glory days of the NHL series? Lets hope so. :)

What the hell are you talking about? NHL 06 wasn't released for the 360. You might be thinking about that piece of garbage that everybody hypes up, the 2k series?

I enjoyed the 2K games for the Xbox, but with this new control and the much more impressive graphics, EA's game looks to be the clear winner. Everything I've seen and heard about this game so far looks fantastic.

Yes you are right. I was smoking crack and dropped the 2K from my post and have now fixed it. Thanks.
