TeamXbox (http://www.teamxbox.com/) has posted new screenshots and a trailer (http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/11401/Marvel-Ultimate-Alliance-HD-Trailers-and-Screens/) for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. These new visuals were initally released today at the San Diego Comic Con (http://www.comic-con.org/index.php) that's running through July 23rd.

Any word yet on the XBL play? If it works like X-Men Legends 2 (must be playing at the same screen ratio to play over Live together) then I'll have to pass on this one, as fun as it would be to play as Thor. If they've gotten rid of that ridiculous limitation, I'll be there on day one for this game.

Raven lost a lot of credibility with me when they failed to disclose that "feature" in any previews or even on the damn box for XML2. That game got sold back the next day out of principle.

I'm kinda excited about this game, but the PC/360/PS3 version looks exactly like the Xbox/PS2/GC version just with fancy shadows.

Graphically I wasn't really that impressed but I thought the game looked pretty awesome, otherwise.

Thor, Captain America, Spider Man? Throw in Iron Man and this game will be near perfect! I really look forward to playing this one on Live.

Nice character roster. Hooray for Captain America and Thor. But lack of Iron Man is strange.

Iron Man, Daredevil and the Hulk are still missing. While Electra, Ghost Rider and Blade are playable. Pffft.

Maybe they are saving those characters so they can be in seperate solo games?

I am stoked to be able to play as blade in a game that isn't utter trash.

Anyone who thinks this isn't a MAJOR graphical upgrade from X-men Legends II is crazy. I'm very happy to have the game looking like it is at this point. However, where in the hell is Iron Man? They'd better be announcing him at Comic-con this weekend!

I would be very surprised if Iron Man isn't included. They haven't announced all the characters. Same goes for Daredevil and possibly the Hulk.

a friend of mine just got a job at Raven Software as a game tester. He gets to play Ultimate Alliance for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and gets paid for it...I envy him... :(

I have a friend who just started at Raven as a programmer a few weeks back and he won't tell me jack about what goes on there : )

I've been watching the series. It's not amazing, but it's WAY better than it could have been. Solid, if not stupendous. Definitely worth it if you dig Blade and/or the vampire side of the Marvel U.
