Is that what the appeal of the first was? I really couldn't figure out why it had the following it did. I liked the 3 main actors/actresses a lot but everything else was so.... not entertaining or artsy in any way to me.

Upon hearing a synopsis of the original I was put off. That's just enough. The fact that someone could think of such a thing, then successfully get it made into a movie is both sad and disturbing. Meanwhile, we can't get a sequel to Serenity. WTF.
