EA Sports tries for another {insert lame golf cliche'} with Tiger Woods 07' for the PS3, XBox 360, Xbox, PS2, and PSP.

Wee to do list for EA.

1) Turn corpses into humans.
2) Turn firewood into trees.
3) Turn possible graphical disaster into something that doesn't tear at my sockets with ungodly forceps.

Oh yeah...that and I'm pretty sure these "future boxes" called XBox 360 and PS3 can cope with shadows and lights....this may just be wild speculation.

Holy crap those graphics suck. The reflections suck, the terrain sucks (no bump mapping?), the people suck, the textures suck, and the trees look like ass. I'm so glad we're using the potential of our next gen consoles...

the movies on gametrailers don't look nearly as bad as those pics. all the previews i've read said the graphics are pretty nice, especially the u-cap for tiger's face. i dont see how the visuals can be worse than 06, but those pics look much worse. i'm confused. somethings up.

Cripes... hate to do nothing more than pile on, but those shots look like I would imagine a BC Tiger Woods game looks on the 360... Except I'm pretty sure that the latter versions of TW for the original Xbox looked a good deal better than that. Let's hope this was simply an early proof-of-concept build.

Clearly these screens are from an unfinished game, but I can't imagine why they released them. It's not like people have been clamoring on the internets for some Tiger Woods '07, hounding the developers to release some images until they finally caved in, forcing them to release these visual travesties.

They EA Sports'd them. By which I mean they developed the title on the lowest spec console (in this case, the PS2) and 'enhanced' them for the more powerful consoles out there.

Spit and polish will only get you so far, is seems.

Yeah the pictures are pretty horrible but these pictures are during the development phase where games are usually tweaked and polished later on near released , so ill wait b4 i make my final judgement

07 PS2 AND XBox are being done by Headgate Studios, 360 and PS3 are being done in EA by a completely different team.

You can find that out if you do some research :)

Yes, Sweet Lord Jesus, Please!

I still play Links 2004 on occasion; it was just that awesome of a game. Why did MS stop developing this? Do they still have the rights to the franchise, or did they sell them off to Take 2? Maybe stopping development on the Links series was part of the deal MS reached with EA for EA to start implementing online play in its Xbox releases? If so... pffft on EA. That makes at least TWO of my favorite series they killed (the other being the NFL 2k games).

I think Take2 does own links... And I thought they were going to try and get it off the floor and running right along with Top Spin. Well we see where that's going. Take 2's next gen sports looks better than EA's although both are lacking all the addidtional features in exchange for graphics I guess. Glad I'm not the only one thinking Links is where it's at...

Anyone else notice how many more spectators are being thrown into the PS3 version? Seems like the team on that title also got a bit more AA out of the engine. Still, aside from the crowds being about doubled, looks pretty similar.

This can't possibly be TW 07... the 2006 version looks better than this and the HD videon gametrailers.com looks waaay better than this.
This has GOT to be from the DS or PSP version of the game. Maybe even original gameboy version.
