We thought the ridiculously long-titled, episodic Penny Arcade Adventures (http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3169083) had come to an end with two games. Luckily for fans of Penny Arcade and fans of RPGs with a dash of humor, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will get a third entry, this one from a different developer.
Zeboyd Games is at work on Episode 3, according to RPGamer (http://www.rpgamer.com/news/Q3-2011/082611a.html). Zeboyd is a relatively new developer, having been formed in 2010, but it made a name for itself with its quality RPGs Breath of Death VII (http://www.1up.com/games/xbox360/breath-death-vii/) and Cthulu Saves the World (http://www.1up.com/games/xbox360/cthulhu-saves-the-world). Both started out as Xbox Live indie games and have since made their way onto PC.
The first two Penny Arcade RPGs were developed by Hothead Games. Last year, it announced (http://www.1up.com/news/penny-arcade-episode-3-hothead) that it wouldn't be working on a third game because "it just doesn't make sense for us as a company to complete the next installment."
