FiringSquad chats briefly with Voodoo PC founder Rahul Sood about his views on PC gaming hardware and other topics. You can check out the interview right here (http://www.firingsquad.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=11187). Here is a snip:
FiringSquad: Where does Voodoo PC see the PC gaming market going, especially when more and more attention is being paid to console gaming?

Rahul Sood: With the launch of Vista we will see yet another spike in PC gaming sales and influence. Games like World of Warcraft make it very compelling for developers to develop highly immersive and graphically intense games for the PC. No matter which console you buy you cannot compete with my PC running 2560x1600 with full detail enabled and surround sound – it’s just not possible.

These are great people, every time I've talked with them it has just been a pleasure. I haven't had the chance to try their PC's or Laptops yet, but I think when I upgrade my writing machine I would like it to be one of their Laptops. (That goes double if they do the SLI Laptops.)

Best of the best when it comes to buying a prebuilt rig.

I hope you arent planning to get something with that many heat-producing processors near your scrotum!

Who wouldn't want to pay four grand for a laptop?

I'm sorry, but VoodooPC is the king of overpriced boutique laptops. Yes, they're nice, but you can get a similar Sager or Asus rig for almost half the price...
