Playable DS titles being shown at San Diego Comic Con

Next Generation (http://www.next-gen.biz/) is reporting (http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3434&Itemid=2) that several playable DS titles will be shown at the San Diego Comic Con that runs July 20-23.

Image Comic book and videogame fan bases largely overlap, and Nintendo is wisely taking advantage of that fact by debuting its DS games at this non-video game show. Show-goers will be able to try out Elite Beat Agents, Mario Hoops 3 on 3, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and Star Fox Command, among other titles.
Bonus for those already going to the Con. Lucky bastards.

Well, Elite Beat Agents isn't a direct port. It's a brand new game with new songs and a new set of cheerleaders and storyline. Plus it will make sense.

I agree though. A good 50% of Ouendan's fun is making up the story as you go along. I was showing it to people at work yesterday and they were wondering why I was playing a game entirely in Japanese. They just couldn't grasp the fun that comes from imagining what the heck is going on during all of those scenes.
