Evil Avatar Official Wallpaper

For those of you that missed it this weekend, we uploaded the first ever Evil Avatar Official Wallpaper (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15056) in numerous desktop resolutions.

I like, but I wish it had a different, unique feel instead of looking like it comes from Ctrl-Alt-Delete or Penny-Arcade.

It is almost as if all gaming cartoons have to have this look, and that's a shame. Where's the diversity?

It does come from Ctrl-Alt-Delete....Tim Buckley did it for us. :)

That's one of the things I like about the EA logo, it looks unique. Honestly, this is just... too bland to be any sort of wallpaper. Avatars, maybe... but not a wallpaper.

It has that CTRL-ALT-DEL feel (obviously), but I just think it's great looking. The amount of details in each of the characters is really nice and impressive, IMO.

I'll have to agree with the non-red people, while the avatars look nice they don't make a great wallpaper. I know, then I don't have to use it. yata yata.

If we're pimping it at all, it's likely because we appreciate the work that went into it and are not influenced by any sort of historical indifference to CAD.

Looks fine to me. Personally, I would like to see a poster that says "Evil Avatar: Daily Gaming News With and Attitude..." And a picture of a very nerdy looking individual jumping down with a flaming sword that chops a troll in half. Now that's a background I would use. That or a unicorn dancing in a candy cane forest.

It's understandable why they are pimping it, because they are on it. I'd probably do the same thing too, but I see no desire for me to have pictures of EA staff on my desktop. I think it would be more suited for the EA staff then readers. Now if it was a awesome game related EA desktop then I might be tempted.

This doesnt seem up to Tim Buckley's quality. I usually like his set pieces that he does but this one I just dont like, it looks like something he did in 2004, when his art wasnt quite the same quality he does now.
