FiringSquad (http://www.firingsquad.com/) chats with coder Martin Loxton about his work on the MultiTES4 mod for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that adds multiplayer to the game. You can check out the interview right here (http://www.firingsquad.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=11165). Here is a snip:
Martin Loxton: So far, I’ve heard nothing yet from Bethesda. This may be a good thing as at least I haven’t done anything immediately wrong or illegal!
Multiplayer Oblivion! Sign me up.

It would be stunning if this mod reaches it's goals. On a related topic, has anyone tried the GTA:SA multiplayer mod?

I've heard good things about the Oblivion mod. Granted, it's still in it's (severe) infant stages, but has enormous potential

Bethseda should offer to pay this guy to code up a download (with some help - he is going to need it).
I bet they are waiting to see how far he gets.

Ohh, I can't wait until it becomes stable! As that way making specialized characters for defensive spells can be useful! And I can play with my friends.

It's never going to be stable :(

That's been my biggest problem with Oblivion, no multiplayer. It's so dead most of the time. Also , most of the spells in the game seem rather useless.
