Ding Chavez is busy with the slots and hookers, but the rest of the Rainbow Six team is in Vegas stopping those pesky terrorists.

If this is anywhere near GRAW's greatness I'll be happy. I saw the 10min walkthrough earlier and it looked stunning....

Is it just me or do they keep releasing slight iterations of the same screen shots as "new" every month or so?

i love rainbow six and i love vegas. norse is right, that walkthrough video looked awesome. i hope they keep it up.

What's pathetic is that the City of Las Vegas is planning to fight the release of this game. I don't have the time right now to write up a news submission for it, so if anybody else wants to you can check out the story over at Game Politics (http://www.gamepolitics.com).

Pretty screens though.

That's what a Vegas casino looks like after 10-15 of those free drnks they give you. Maybe the guy you play was just playing black jack and then the swat team came and recruited him...

Trying to get the HD video play. It's a hefty file, but of what I've seen, it's sexy as hell.

Why's that? I'm rather enjoying GRAW on the pc. The only complaints I have are that the squad isn't intelligent, decent, but they still need improvement, and to have to ability to give my squad orders via voice comands. I really liked that feature in RS 3 on Xbox.

HOpefully the AI in this Rainbow six will... well, not be like it has been for some time.

Also, does anyone else turn off that goddamn HDR function? It always looks like shit in every game I play - like they decided to wash out the entire scene with it.

After watching the videos of the gameplay, I'm clawing at the clock for this to come out. I don't get all the whining. If you don't like Rainbow Six, why bother talkin' shit about this. If you do, you've got nothing but awesomeness to look forward to!

Nice looking game.

Still I don't think I've seen better, more realistic background fixtures than HL2. The highrises in this game don't look too hot.

I *hate* the GRAW engine. HDR is overly done, and the engine is so focused on it that it's impossible to implement AA (and the blurring effect in the latest patch for GRAW does not count). Ubi, if you're listening, PLEASE DITCH THIS ENGINE.

That doesn't sound right... Seems like the Tom Clancy games should have some more variable ways of dealing with health since these games are "supposed" be granted more realism than other games. Give me a slow limp if I get shot in the leg. Minor damage for bullets that would actually be more like flesh wounds then that old system of three bars. Three bullet shots or a headshot. That was meh but better than regenrating. Add in heart shots all ready. Let me shot a leg off. Snipe guns out of hands. :o

I was about to say let me shot someone in the neck and watch him reach for his neck before folding up. Then I remembered in GR and RS games you normally using high powered rifles. Doubt there's in reaching with your neck shot, :rolleyes:
