GamesIndustry.biz (http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=18288) brings word that Lumines 2 will feature numerous "famous artists" in the game. Van Gough, Monet, Dali? No not those kind of artists.Speaking at the Develop conference in Brighton yesterday, the creator of titles including Sega Rally, Rez and Space Channel 5 revealed that the follow-up to his well-received PSP puzzle title Lumines will feature a number of "pretty famous artists" on the soundtrack.

Here comes Kelly Clarkson! SINCE YOU'VE BEEN GONE...

Will the sequel be hitting the PSP or could we have a multi-platform affair?

I'm too lazy to read the article.

They are still planning on porting the original to the PS2, right?

Well, I hope they're Japanese artists, and Japanese songs.
Some Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi and etc wouldn't be so bad.

I think some mainstream stuff mixed in with crazy stuff could be cool. Guitar hero did a great job with title tracks and indie music, why not?

That's fairly dissappointing. I like not know the songs in Lumines. Must everything sell out to commercialized crap? I guess I'm showing my age. I remember when movies had scores and not soundtracks.
