The British Gaming Blog (http://www.britishgaming.co.uk/?p=1021) got their hands on 6 new screens of Red Steel for the Nintendo Wii.

Graphics look better than what we saw at E3. Then again, the first "screenshots" released looked a lot better than this.

These have been floating about since last week.

I may be wrong but I think they still look a bit doctored - not a single jaggy in sight, all the lines are too smooth....

(they have bigger shots at ign (http://media.wii.ign.com/media/821/821973/imgs_1.html) )

Hello Wii Launch! It looks rather nice, though that's not the part I am focusing on. How it's played is much more important in my book.

They've added some strange film grain effect to the shots that makes them look like movie stills (and helps to reduce the appearance of jaggies). I doubt this is going to be an in-game effect, but if they can pull that off it would look pretty damn cool...

These look as nice as the first screens. Hopefully the grain effect stays, as it looks great. Shouldn't be hard to pull off either, just look at Shadow of the Colossus on the PS2, which uses an even stronger one.

Quoted for Truth. This game, and Wii in general, will live or die by the new control scheme.
