Are you a fan of Evil Avatar Radio and the Evil Avatar Radio Podcast? Do you want to know more about what goes on behind the scenes?

Okay, by "behind the scenes" I mean the process of editing, and thoughts that come up while doing so. If such a thing would interest you, you can go here (http://pseudopseudo.1up.com) and read up on all the juicy tidbits you wouldn't otherwise find on the official podcast website. Here's a taste of the madness:

Call Four: James (fitbabits @ EvAv) I'm not going to say much about this call, outside of that Jeff is James' bitch FOREVER because of one tiny little phrase. Also, if you feel like the "Game Doctor M.D." segment is a good idea, send your video game-related health questions (or mp3 questions) to evilavatarnews@gmail.com.

Also included is a segment called "WHAT THE EFF DOES THIS COMIC STUFF MEAN?" Enjoy this behind the scenes recap while waiting for the finished product to appear on EvilAvatarRadio.com!

Good stuff. :D

I should do the same thing for the web dohickey stuff, but it's just not as interesting.

That was a great little summary pseudo. Those should be the new shownotes!

And everyone STILL needs to go out and buy ArchEnemies. The series is done, so don't delay! Order today!

Oh, and Canadians can't really get offended. You could sit there and say, "Boo! Canada! We hate your guts!" and we'd say, "Oh really? Ah well. Want to come over for a barbeque?"

To paraphrase Jon Stewart (or was it Colbert?), "How can you hate Canada? It's like hating toast! It's not the kind of thing that really elicits passion."

Unless you're Jeffool, who is an honourary Canadian.

Call One: Luke (Host of Game Addict Hotline) - Well, this call was a long one. Over 10 minutes, as a matter of fact. Luke talks about the Casuality Gamer's Conference - lots of interesting stuff. Check out about 5:28 into this call - Phil uses the word "uber". Sorry, it made me giggle.

Um... isn't it Casual Gamer's Conference?

I'm trying to determine from your post if it's a gamer conference for people suffering casualties or to debate causality in games.

What's the most impressive thing about that call? Luke didn't plug Gameaddicthotline.com once. He must have had a cold. :)

While they are 'casual games conferences', some of them are called 'Casuality (http://www.casualgamesassociation.org/)'. It's insane.

And I'm not Bootsy's bitch forever, just until the end of the next podcast!

Linked from Luke's site: http://www.casuality.org/

So, it's not the "Casuality Gamer's Conference", or the "Casual Gamer's Conference"... it's just called Casuality. Ho-hum.

And about him not plugging... ;) I think I'm a little at fault for that. He came into the chat on Friday night, and plugged it right away, so I jokingly called him a "whore". He went on the defensive, and was that way for a little while until I assured him that I was just giving him crap. He was pretty quiet for the rest of the night...

What!?! NOOO! How dare they have a cute name for their conference that effectively derails my making fun of Justin's spelling. Grr...

This is the second time today that I've attempted to point out errors where there were no errors at all. I need better glasses.

And I'm not Bootsy's bitch forever, just until the end of the next podcast!
That's just what he wants you to think.

Poor guy. You'd better let him plug the site twice next week.

Speaking of missing things, were there any Horse Carcass references last week? I know we did have a brief Toybane mention but we seemed to have had a rather off week for regular soundbites.

Ah well. Hmm... what am I doing here yammering about this when I have Chrono Trigger waiting for me downstairs, all ready to go on a bearskin rug?

Sorry, that last part was my dream talking.

Sorry, that last part was my dream talking.

I've often imagined Chrono Trigger as a voluptuous young lady, waiting to seduce me...

...and then I realize I'm playing SNES with no pants on, and my roommate probably wouldn't like that too much. :D
