More alterations made to the Wii-mote

Wii Fanboy (http://www.nintendowiifanboy.com/) is reporting (http://www.nintendowiifanboy.com/2006/06/28/sligh t-alterations-to-the-wii-controller/) , based of an event Nintendo held in Spain, that the Wii-mote has had some minor cosmetic surgery. The most important addition?

Finally, however, is the attachment of a wrist-strap for the remote, which is a wonderful idea considering the motions required in games like Wii tennis and the, ah...expensive TV sets around the room.

Since the original story by Revogamers is in Spanish there could be more crazy things Nintendo has added but I can't read it.

I hope they're making the Wii's Numchuck cord longer. Every single person I've shown the Wii videos always say "That cord looks a little short".
Why even take a chance with such a short cord?

Hopefully the Wii will be another batch of durable Nintendo hardware. Considering how many times my mom flung my NES out our second story windows as a child...and it still works to this day.

- The cord connecting the two controllers was floppy long at E3, unlike the promo vids, that showed it to be short. I wouldn't worry about it.

Wii FTW...Nintendo seems to be able to do no wrong right now; of course, they haven't even released the system yet, so you'd have to be....*cough* stupid like Sony to do so many things wrong before even launching.

Very few new things, the speaker in the Wii-Mote only works with duck hunt demo (2 players same time), and it says its kind of ok..

Not much new thing, but overall they said, that its amazing the Wii.

That's odd, because the Wii Remotes I played with at E3 had wrist straps. In fact, some of the Nintendo reps would hand you the controller by holding open the wrist strap for you to put your hand throuh and then grab the controller.

How long until someone labels the wrist strap innovative and claims Nintendo invented it?

It actually sounds rather annoying to me. 1) I won't want something hanging on my wrist when I'm playing (same deal with DS / PSP), and 2) I certainly won't want it flopping around if I'm not using it.

Well, you'll probably be able to remove it, like most gadgets with a wrist strap.

Thats a first =) She's nekkid. The wrist straps really are a brilliant idea. I am sure most people carry around USB mem cards these days on lanyards or straps. Hopefully we can incorperate them into Wiimotes over the coming years? Everyone will be carrying them around I am sure.
