Full Auto 2: Battlelines puts high-speed vehicles outfitted with weapons and armor into fully realized and fully destructible urban street environments. Fierce combat-racing will ensue as you strategically use destruction to win races as well as leave massive devastation in your wake. Here is a snip :

The comparative armor status of each combatant will be more important in the sequel, allowing more maneuverable sports cars to speed around chuggier trucks and soften up their armor with rocket fire, and then go in for the ram kill. On the other hand, if you charge your coupe at a truck with 100% armor, even if yours is equally healthy, you're going to hand the big guy an easy kill. If you still prefer speed over brute force, you'll have more of those faster, exotic cars to choose from this time around, including the HSK, designed to challenge the first game's Wraith, and several other muscle and sports models among the 25 total vehicles available.Check the full Full Auto 2: Battlelines preview (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=34441) over at WorthPlaying.

Honestly, if they improved the actual "racing" aspect of the original this could be a pretty good game.

They're making a sequel to Full Auto already?

Did the original even sell that well to warrant a follow up?

Nope, but considering Sony fans will buy a PS3 even if there are no games......

The first game sucked... hard. Not a moment of fun to be had.

I actually played this for about 10 minutes in Best Buy and had a freaking blast. It was not a racing game, just an arcade-like, fun little shoot em up that just happened to be set in a car. I'll buy it when it's less than 50, and when I have a 360.

I enjoyed playing the game online. Other than that it was just....meh.

I would think they would release a game that people actually liked. Like Twisted Metal. They are dumb.

(I'm bashing publisher's love of established IPs, not your post, btw.)

This game could have been great. But it WAS NOT. After the 1st 15 minutes of gloss wears off, you too will be bored.

Plus I am still very bitter about them releasing the broken multiplayer. No private matches? What is this? Late 2001? How did MS even certify this POS? There are demos with more complete multiplayer than this.

I played the demo of the original once and promptly deleted it. I can't believe the game was ever made. What a disaster!

I played the demo and was like... "meh". Then I got into it and found it to be pretty fun and yearned for the full game, so I could get some multiplayer luvin.

Alas, when the full game came out, I found the number tracks, cars and activities to be more "tedious" than fun and the weapons were really unbalanced.

So, to the multiplayer I went! Fun for a moment, but the interface for online is SO CLUMSY, I just put the game down.

The only reason I still own it, is to go back and get the Achievements.

PS3 has no Achievements and unless they learn their lessons from the first game, there's no way in hell this is gonna get me to buy a PS3.

Its just like recognition for stuff you've done, so you can show it off, I'm not way into it but I like the idea of it.

At first I said the same thing, but then the bug hit me.

I don't know what it is... (competetive nature?) but it's spreading like crack.
