I knew it was a risk purchasing an industrial keyboard but wow this thing is built for quality. The whole thing feels like some giant throwback to the 90s and rock solid. Keys are buttery smooth and the audible "click" noise really does help improve with accuracy. It's design is PERFECT for dropping down "into" part of a table or MAME cabinet. Everything about this screams professional and while the keys are not optimal for gaming, this will be my new daily driver for code work and writing. The only downside is it's loud so no late night gaming with these.

edit: one other thing, is that the feel, bulk, and style of this keyboard while you're using it feels spot on perfect to every one of those post apocalyptic movies where the hacker just plugs in his keyboard and start typing. This feels like a fallout 3 Robco terminal. It is that cool.

I'm getting one as soon as my current keyboard dies.

I've used these (http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Comfort-Curve-Keyboard-B2L-00002/dp/B0009ZBRS0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1304026820&sr=8-1)for the past several years. Had to replace one after a coffee spill, but otherwise they're great. I think I have five for various work machines.

I've been looking into getting one of the writerly keyboards, old spring-click style. But I need one with one of those plastic wrist wrests, ramp-like.
