Prey Xbox 360 Achievement List Posted

3D Realms sends along word that they have posted the Xbox 360 Achievement List (http://www.3drealms.com/news/2006/06/xbox_360_achiev.html) for Human Head's upcoming DOOM 3-engine shooter, Prey.

They also note that the PC demo will be released on Thursday. (Or Wednesday at Midnight ETZ for us night owls.)

I can already hear bapenguin drooling into his 360 headset.

I don't know, if not for the fact that I plan to sink a tonne of hours into Chromehounds and will have the GRAW dlc to hold me over until then I would robably pick this up. I think the the "crazy ass every direction might be down" mechanic might be fun. If nothing else, it'll be something different in multiplayer.

Yeah, it's going to be between this and Chromehouds for me. I'm also picking up LOTR on the 5th, so I'll really only have the time for one other game. Haven't decided which yet... hopefully the Prey demo will help me out there.

Luckily I'm on vacation the first 2 weeks of July... but I intend to be doing more golfing than gaming :D

Chromehounds environments look to bland, and then theres the uninteresting gameplay, so Prey is the only worth action game of my summer.

I really can't understand the lure of these achievement points. I mean, wading through all those crappy EA sports games, and the lame budget titles. Kudos to those who do, though. You guys must be stubborn as hell.

You don't HAVE to get the achievment points. I know for me though, They bring me back to play a game that I stopped playing, even though I really liked it.

Yeah, achievement points keep my interest. If only I had more time in front of the TV. *Sigh* I need to start work on the basement so I can have my theatre room.

This is a good list. Much more reasonable than a lot of games.

I dunno. I seem to burn through most of them in a night or two of work. I've found I'm much more of a completionist on my 360 games due to the achievement tracking.

I'm in for the demo on this one. Probably not going to buy it though. I'm all excited for Chromehounds. It's getting my gaming dollars for the next month or so.

Also: Ditto on the achievement points keeping some interest in games. Though I do find it frustrating when there are ones that I know I will never get, like the style racer one in PGR3, or most of the multiplayer achievements in Ghost Recon :(

I would like to ask if someone could give impressions of the 360 demo compared to the PC one. I'm interested in how they compare graphically and how well they've mapped the controls to the controller. I'd do it myself but I'm currently without a 360. I'd really appreciate if someone did!

Awesome, not only have I had this game preordered for awhile but it looks like another sweet 1000points that are entirely possible without having to sell my soul to the devil. And if i counted right, it looks like there are 21 single player missions...not bad!

Yes, the 360 version is released the same as the PC version, give or take a few hours, I'm sure. I was originally curious myself because it just says the PC demo being released. However, take a venture to the website mentioned in the article and further clicking shows the 360 version being mentioned as well.
