Ok so i've recently bought a second hand psp off my friend (pretty cheaply i might add at around $64 with 3 games and its still in near enough new condition) and i'm not really sure what games to get for it i started to make a list but its not alot i was wondering if there was any reccommendations?
So far i plan to get:
Dissidia 012
FFVII Crisis Core
Valkyria Chronicles II
Phantasy Star Portable
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Burnout Legends
anything to add to the list? And also because i'm pretty new to the whole PSP scene is there a way to get my PS1 games onto the PSP if i already have the discs or does that involve homebrews and hacking which i dont really want to get into. I really don't want to have to go through and re-buy all the PS1 games i own off the PSnetwork..

Here is what I have in my collection which I enjoyed.
Field Commander - a turn based strategy game.
Gran Turismo - you've listed Burnout so GT might not be your thing but it I sunk lots of hours into it. It plays well and it is designed around being able to pick up and play quickly.
Killzone: Liberation - a really solid isometric single stick shooter.
Marvel Trading Card Game - as the name would imply it is a card game based on the Marvel universe. If you like strategy games, this is quite different from games like Field Commander (or Valkyria Chronicles) but well worth a look.
MGS Peace Walker - already on your list but I would agree it is a good game.
MGS: Portable Ops - I'd play this before Peace Walker. Portable Ops precedes Peace Walker in the chronology and it introduces a number of elements that Peace Walker refines.
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite - I found this to be incredibly addictive. But I believe Phantasy Star Portable is kind of similar so maybe you won't want to tackle both.
Patapon 1 & 2 - a great mixing of rhythm gameplay with RPG elements combined with a unique art style.
If you are a fan of Insomniac games I would also recommend:
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
Resistance Retribution
Secret Agent Clank

I have never tried the multiplayer on Monster Hunter as I was always happy just plugging away. The thing I like about Monster Hunter is that you can change your class by changing your equipment. It sounds odd but it means that when you get bored of fighting with dual swords you can switch to using a bow and when you get bored of using a bow you switch to something else. Each weapon makes the game feel kind of new again because you have to learn new strategies and techniques. I kind of miss this in other RPGs that lock you into a single class.
