If this was april fools I'd be a mod.

honestly tho.. I'm surprised this site passed up the best april fools of all. Evil just needs to turn the edit buttons back on but when you go to use them it's a link to some GIMP tutorial on how to edit and crop photos of quilts.

The Minecraft one is hilarious. Be sure to check it out and fill up your cart, unless you are prone to seizures, then spam the checkout button. I actually crashed Firefox spamming the raptor...

Imgur will also auto-catify (http://imgur.com/blog/2011/04/01/catify-your-images/) any pictures you upload, if you wish. It dumps a lovely lolcat into the picture. I actually hope this sticks around...

I love what Destructoid is doing today; everything is hand-written. They update every 20 minutes with literally hand-drawn, hand-written updates. Comments can be faxed or called in, at which point they'll hand-write them and post them.

It's pretty epic, really.

Woot's (http://www.woot.com/) Crapshoot game was less than epic. Game was only occasionally possible to clear, you had to hope they didn't screw you until you passed the level you needed to place an order. Instead of slowing purchases as they intended, people uploaded ways to cheat it and it sold out more or less instantly.

I caught on to it when they put it up, and was all "Today is the day I finally get a bag o' crap!" No such luck however.

Paradox Interactive reveal plans for Vietnam franchise

Ho Chi Minh City, April 1st 2011 - Today Paradox Interactive has announced the full title of their upcoming roleplaying strategy game King Arthur II, now known as King Arthur II: Vietnam. The change comes after receiving overwhelmingly positive reactions to the announcement of Magicka: Vietnam.

The Glorious Leader Fredrik Wester explains the reasoning;
"A wise journeyman once told me "Don't stop believing" and that's exactly what we're doing here. The response on the Magicka DLC was so fantastic so we just decided to keep going, so this is a strategic decision we're taking for the company and all our games across the board. The decision was made without consulting any developers or fellow colleagues, it just felt right."

What surely will mark a paradigm shift in the gaming industry as a whole, King Arthur II: Vietnam will soon be followed by the space strategy epic Sword of the Stars II: Vietnam. Paradox Interactive aims to quickly follow suit with Europa Universalis: Vietnam, Vietnam: The MMOVRGP before rounding off the year with Vietnam: Vietnam since gamers have requested this on frequent occasions.

Complement your breakfast build with Newegg Bacon! Why use conventional CPU coolers that waste heat when you can channel those blazing temperatures and fry some tasty bacon?
Fans broken? Vents choked by dust bunnies? Water cooling system low on coolant? No problem! Now that your system is an overpriced E-Z Bake Oven, add Newegg Biscuits to your breakfast build and enjoy a satisfying treat while you work! Kids will love watching the biscuits rise through the acrylic window in your case!

Newegg wins.
