That's right, I'm straight up whoring out my own application in this post.
But this time it's probably okay! It's something that may or may not be useful for my fellow foolish 3DS day-one purchasers who didn't catch my initial blurb about this on Twitter and the Farmbook!
The Gist: those nifty 3DS AR cards made portable on your Android phone. Arguably the most enjoyable part of the 3DS is also the part most prone to being lost. Without the cards...YOU ARE NOTHING. So put the cards safely away someplace and use this on your phone or tablet.
The Good: It's only 42k! No ads!
The Bad: The cards have been specially tweaked to remove Nintendo's trademarks. That's right, no M4rio or L1nk on these babies. Reasoning was twofold: 1) the cards are highly compressible now (hence the size), and 2) Nintendo will have a hard time making a case that my app violates their property.
There's one other 3DS AR card (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.andrewwilson.arcards) app on the market, but the Good and Bad are reversed. It's 663k, ad supported, and features all your lovable favorites that Nintendo will continue to run into the ground for decades to come. (And a couple other options.)
