Wow.
I was pretty fond of the previous version...but the new version makes it look clunky and outdated.
It's stupid fast.

That's what, 2 million digidowns in 4 hours. Not bad. Not many know it's out yet, will likely expand as the week continues.
Building my new system this weekend, FF4 will be its first browser, pretty awesome ;)

Haven't tried it yet, but I do have it installed. I'm still a Chrome user by default, but I've been impressed with some of the IE9 changes (official last week).
I'll only use Firefox if it takes less than a second to appear after I click the shortcut. The 4-5 seconds waiting for it is what kept me away from 3.5+.

Firefox was always my favourite browser. Even have it on my android now that the betas are done.

I wonder how this compares to the likes of Chrome.

Don't do if it seems forced. :P

Nothing else provides the security and customization of FF. You can't get Noscript on IE9 or Chrome for instance. You can come close to similar functionality in Chrome tho. But Ie9 doesn't have anything like that, far as I know, and is Vista and up only. FF4 supports XP.
And how could anyone go back to Ie, just as a matter of principle :P After the travesty that was Ie6, I'm not about to encourage MS ever again :P

True, ever since I found Firefox I have been installing it on everything I can get my hands on. EVERYTHING.

So much more screen space, I like it.

NotScript for Chrome is really good.
Though I'm looking forward to going back to Firefox. Chrome's desire to keep all of my history without a way to clear stuff has me less than impressed.

Wait, what. You can clear your history in "Under the hood". But really, if you don't want someone to know that you are looking at porn you should just use an incognito window ;).

Just found my favorite new feature: "Paste & Go."
I don't want to abandon Opera :( But Firefox 4 is calling.

Indeed, I couldnt go back to 3.5 when I loaded Chrome and started using that. Glad to see it in 4.

Mmm. Tried that.
The problem isn't porn (free porn for all!), it was work-sensitive stuff that I couldn't leave laying about on a shared PC. Chrome really made it a pain in the ass for me.

Everything is good except for the ass backwards layout. Thanks for moving my refresh button for no reason! Thanks for fucking up the customize options to the point that half of what I move does not even show up... Thanks for creating a lot of blank space I can't modify.

Fiddling with Firefox 4 now. I use Chrome for my day to day, but I keep firefox on hand too. UI looks a lot more like Chrome now, which I guess is a good thing. Anyway to integrate the search box into the url bar, or does that have to stay separate?

Chrome lets you wipe it all or look at the history and delete any entry individually (ctrl+h->edit items). Great if you slip up but don't want to erase everything. Also has a manager for individual cookies and saved passwords/login info. Everything you should need is in there, though the interface is a bit different from the standard.

Refresh button is up there, it's just on the right of the URL bar. Looks like stop/go/refresh are all the same button now, and it changes depending on what's going down.
The best thing about firefox 4 is how you can completely and totally change the interface into ANYTHING YOU POSSIBLY WANT IT TO BE.
I love it, personally. I also (very conveniently) got a new laptop yesterday and "Sync" made moving everything over to my laptop absolutely fucking effortless.

Yeah, sync is damn nice. I like tab grouping too.
