NVIDIA sends along word that the NVIDIA nZone (http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_trlegend_downloads.html) has released an updated demo for Tomb Raider: Legend that now has the same stunning graphics features that can be seen in the final version of the game. The demo is now available on nZone.com (http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_trlegend_downloads.html).

Tomb Raider: Legend earned great ratings on the PC, scoring over 80% on Gamerankings.com. The PC version looks incredible, with real-time shadows, high resolution textures, bump mapping, improved anti-aliasing, and enhanced skin shaders that make Lara look better than ever. However, up until now gamers had to purchase the game to be able to see these features, because the earlier demo didn’t support the game in its full graphic glory.

Let's see how the X800 handles this one. :)

Edit: God damn it, corrupt download.

I can tell you the "next gen" content in the full game took my 6800 to task. It was a pretty slide show.

Brilliant, they didn't even package up the right demo. It's the old one!

TR: Legend has issues with nVidia cards and next-gen content, i.e. that shit crawls even with SLI setups.

Oh, thought so, since my 9800 handled it nicely. nVidia users got Path of Neo, us ATI users got TRL. You lose!

Glad I read this , my Intel P4 3 GHz dual core with 2 gigs of DDR2 4300 ram and an Nvidia 7800 GTX also had issues ( not smooth at all unfortunately ) running this demo with all details on and next gen content on and I was so disappointed as I thought I had a decent pc..Good to see it isn't my pc.
