FiringSquad chats with The Creative Assembly's Ian Roxburgh as he talks about their upcoming Internet download expansion pack Rome Total War Alexander. You can check out the interview right here (http://www.firingsquad.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=10684). Here is a snip:
FiringSquad:Why was the decision made to make the expansion center around Alexander?
Ian Roxburgh:It was really a case of an offer we couldn’t refuse. We simply couldn’t bring ourselves to move on from the era without addressing Alexander and his campaign because the events and battles lend themselves so perfectly to Total War. We also knew it was a particular area that our fans wanted us to examine and it was an area we had considered previously when we came to creating an expansion. When we had the opportunity to create new content for Rome, we didn’t hesitate before turning to Alexander for the subject matter.
The Internet only game downloads are growing and if they are successful we should see more of them like this
