I really enjoyed the book online, and when I get some money plan on picking it up to help him out. Reading 13 Bullets right now before moving on to the rest of the "Monster" trilogy, and it is turning out to be pretty badass itself.
Congrats to all who won. I hate you. :D

I started to read this book online, but I couldn't bring myself to read past the third paragraph or so:
For whatever reason I turned then to look ahead and to port. The only thing over that way was a trio of the girls. In their uniforms they looked like a girl band gone horribly wrong. Grey headscarves, navy school blazers, plaid miniskirts, combat boots. AK-47s slung over their shoulders. Sixteen years old and armed to the teeth, the Glorious Girl Army of the Women’s Republic of Somaliland.I know that zombie movies/novels are ridiculous in general, but come on. Teenagers in school girl outfits, combat boots, and guns? Please check your sexual fantasies at the door when you pick up the pen.

I've been a long time visitor of EvilAvatar.com and peruse this website daily. This is probably the second thing I've ever won in my life. Well, except for the crab-walk race on field day (oh, and a VHS of the Power Rangers movie from Fox Kids), but it is what encouraged me to register. Thanks Evil.

Woo! Glad you won, man, congrats, and hopefully it'll coax you into joining into discussions more often. :)

I did the same thing. It actually does make a bit more sense if you try not to let it get to you and keep reading. You are really missing out, just as I was, if that is all that keeps you from reading this book.

Maybe you should read a bit further. It explains why they are the way they are. And I promise you nothing sexual at all in the books. It just emphasizes that one day the world of normal, than an instant later it is changing around you with no time to worry about the unimportant things like cloths and such, you need to grab a gun and learn to shoot, finding friends where you can and sticking together.
