So my co-worker was looking to buy a 360. I told him that he should buy the slim with the 250 gig. The 4 gig is just a joke. Well, so we went off on this expedition and guess what...
Apparently the 250 gig without the Kinect... DOESN'T EXIST...

Did he try Best Buy, Wal Mart, Newegg.com, Amazon.com, Gamestop? All of those in my area have a 250 gig without Kinect for sale.

I read something about some supply issues they were having due to the better than expected success of the Kinect. But I have seen them at my local Best Buy and HHGregg.

We live in Wisconsin, and we not only went to the store, but also online, and best buy, walmart, ebgames, sams club didn't have any 360 slim without Kinect... all they had was either the 4 gig, with and without kinect and the 250 gig with kinect...
All the websites have either took them off their pages today, or have posted that they arent available online...
Its been really frustrating.

We figured out what we are going to do. He is a bit picky, as I am too. I hate buying an electric item and not having it in my hands.
We work in shipping, and we understand how people handle packages, it isn't pretty, so its justified why we hesitate on not buying online.
But what are new plan is, is that we are going to buy the 4 gig, and just purchase the 250 gig and just swap them... it works for him which in the end all that matters.

This is further proof that MS intends to integrate the device into Xbox 3. It's now considered a "success" in the marketplace. And Move has been working too for Sony. Neither was rejected by players utterly. It's game-on for the next gen.
