Do you not have the time to follow a walkthrough to ensure you get everything while playing Final Fantasy X-2? Or maybe you got sick of some of the less fun mini-games in Kingdom Hearts 2, but would like to see the bonus video?
One of the benefits of YouTube (http://www.youtube.com) is being able to spoil these secret endings. This is perfect for adult fans who may love certain videogames but don't have the time to invest in unlocking these videos.

There is actually already a secret ending out for Dirge of Cerebus too. I'd really love to watch it, but I don't want to spoil the game for myself. I suggest those of you who haven't beaten the above and plan on doing so, avoid these spoiler movies.

I worked towards the secret ending in Kingdom Hearts 2 and spent around 25 extra hours, to a total of 50 hours on the quests. I originally thought you just had to do only the jiminy challenges to get the secret ending so when I went and finished the game and watched the first ending, your report comes up. I was at 98% done. You had to do every single thing (sythesize items, treasure chests, etc) in the game to get the secret ending. After that, I didn't touch the game again and watched it on YouTube.
Hated that so much..

Heh, Hey bap. I wonder if they have the secret ending for the "Pleasure Dome", if not, wanna work on it and submit it? ;)

Or in the case of FFX-2, have to play it at all.

Wow. The FFX-2 ending was incredibly saccharine and completely wooden at the same time.

is there any other cool endings or secret endings to any other games on that site?

The multiple Silent Hill ones are worth a look; particularly the dog ending for SH2!

I couldn't bring myself to putting in all the extra legwork to get the 'good' ending to FF X-2. It's nice to have something for completists, but with an RPG, I want to let the story wrap itself up without my having to hunt down every missing dongle or widget strewn across the game unless it actually is part of the story. Silly sidequests.

I think Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within has different end bosses and endings based on your performance. Could be wrong, though. Haven't beaten it myself yet.

Pretty much agree.
I *love* jRPGs but I also *hate* when after beating a game I open GameFAQs masters' FAQ and lear that I missed 2 hidden dungeons, 4 ultra powerful bosses, 10 amazing items (almost always best weapons/ armors in the entire game) and a gazillion of gizmos, gadgets - the overall Moogle crap.
Damn, I've beaten the game, I saw the ending and yet I missed so much.
Stupid jRPGs.

Definitely. I was just introducing this as a concept with these 2 examples.

For me, if those things don't end up giving me any extra story, I just put the game up on the shelf and don't bother with them. Even if they do give me the Super Secret Ultimate Ending, if the things aren't fun or are just busywork to add another 5-10 hours of play, I won't bother with them. I have little enough gaming time as it is and for me to put that much extra time into a game after the story is done... I can't justify it.
Now, some games integrate the quest for the ultimate weapons and armour into the story or make it so that you organically pick up parts and explore hidden areas as you work through the main game. That kind of sidequest is fine. It's the stuff that you need to do after finishing the game that bugs me. DQVIII's final dungeon is the only one that I can even think about possibly going back to finish because the rest of the game was so good and didn't really feel like filler.
Ah, the good ol' days where people like me had the free time to actually do all of that completist stuff.
Now bring on FFXII so I can stop grumping about FFX-2 and finally stop replaying all of the remakes on the GBA!
