So I woke up this morning to a gift in mail from the woman. Dead Money $DLC 9.99 on steam. Since I had new vegas installed, it started updating as soon as I clicked to accept the gift. Guess how long it took to download the DLC?

1 minute? 10? 30?

Yes about 30.... seconds.... to "unlock" the content I had already installed with the original title.

No more Bathesda products for me ty.

hahahahaha!

I told you all sell that shit while it is still worth some $$$. So they pulled a Capcom on you photobomber? Now do you understand my hate for a company that screws you over? To think we beta tested a 60 bucks game for them...

This is why I DIDN'T buy FNV and instead, I am waiting for the GOTY. You just can't buy games any more on release day or you end up feeling screwed later on. Borrow a friends copy, or pirate it as long as you plan on buying the goty later on.

I don't know that it's 100% cut content, but awhile ago someone went through NV's files and found names and textures for all the DLC they have planned.

Nothing was pulled... I predicted this long before you jumped on the bandwagon son. I hadn't planned on testing my theory but now that I have, this thread is just giving people a head's up and warning buyer beware. No need to tell everyone "I told you so" when most of them agreed with me in the first place. ;)

You sure they didn't just patch it into your Steam release as they finished it. Sure it shipped with it? I'm not so sure.

Bandwaggon? Hardly. I didn't get suckered into buying the game at full price. :P

Stuff like this doesn't really bother me. I haven't heard anyone complain that FNV was too short in the retail-only version. If I felt that the game was unfinished then I'd be annoyed.

I don't think it's a great way to do business, but I'm not offended.

I guess buggy could count as 'unfinished,' though.
