Looks like MS is giving some release info in their latest Live advertisements that get slipped into the major gaming publications every month. Most notably, the timeframe for the Lumines Live release is listed:

Good stuff. Not sure how I feel about the 6 dollar map packs, but hey, I can always skip them I guess.

1200 points? That's like...15 bucks. I guess it's worthwhile as long as it has the same amount of content as the PSP version which costs 40 bucks.

Well, the PSP version recently dropped to 20 bucks, but that still makes the 360 version cheaper. Plus the 360 version has the addition of online play, and that whole music video feature (worthless IMO), so I'd say it's a good deal. I would have paid 50 for it. That game is the single reason I own a PSP.

wow, lot of nice stuff there, great find.
another pgr car pack...im wary
but added features are always a great thing!
i think i will pick up cod2 again, its seems the bugs are worked out and a lot of enw content for it. i still need to finish up some missions anyways.

And the PS2 version, Lumines Plus, is going to retail for $29.99. I'd say the Xbox 360 version is a bargain.

Very sweet. Personally, I'm psyched for Cloning Clyde, Roboblitz, and Lumines. Wish there was a bit more summer content for Live Arcade, but plenty to look forward to.

Wow, I didn't know that Lumines was coming to the 360. As I was saying in the other thread, this console coupled with XBLA is really starting to come into itself. In a year I expect it to be amazing. :D

Yeah, I'm pretty interested in Cloning Clyde as well.

Pac Man? That's actually pretty cool an addition.
I know people who would spend plenty of time playing that.

400 points for Street Fighter sounds little considering how excited everyone is...

Yeah, I thought Street Fighter was going to be like 800 points. 5 bucks is pretty cheap for that game, considering it has online play.

Yeah, the Street Fighter price is a very nice surprise. Good stuff.

I'm not a huge SF fan, but if it's $5, I'd buy it just to encourage more arcade ports at that price point. And I'm looking forward to Cloning Clyde; it's from the developers of Outpost Kaloki, which was my favorite among the XBLA launch games.

If you want to do some multiplayer CoD2 send me a game invite. I finally completed that game, but would like to try out the multiplayer stuff.

Great news all around. Lots of stuff on that list I'm looking forward to. SF2, Pac-Man (son loves this game on his gameboy), Kameo harder mode pack, and Lumines. Prices look very reasonable too which is nice.

I'm pleased as hell we've got all this new content coming out.
But... shit..., c'mon guys... can we get a decent freebie once in a while, at least? Damn.
I don't mind coughing for the LIVE Arcade games, but stuff like map packs or car packs... come on... you don't need to gouge me EVERY TIME. Release one for free every now and than, sheesh. Or release a smaller pack for free once a year or something, and charge for the bigger ones if need be.
I dunno... I just don't want to look at a game, pondering whether to buy it, and having to also think to myself, "now, if I really like this game, are they going to charge me everytime they come out with new content?" I don't want that to sour my thinking.

While I'd normally agree, if the team is going to take their time away from new projects to continue to work on the old ones, that takes money. I have no problem paying them for their extra work.

I'm pretty sure the Cadillac car pack for PGR3 was free.
Sf is cheap, Lumines seems a bit expensive to a Live Arcade title, but both together for $20? Deal!

Yeah, I think you're right... I'd forgotten that one. Good point!
I'm not expecting or asking for fantastic handouts or anything. Kind of noticing just about everything on LIVE worth having is costing SOMETHING. The occasional quality freebie would be nice, is all. The Cadillac pack fits that bill, for sure!

it was, as well as a free car from the first pack.

There's been free additions to Kameo as well - most notably the co-op update. There's been a few other freebies for a couple of games that I can't think of right now. Plus there's been a ton of free themes and picture packs.

Isn't Contra coming at some point? I'm dying for that one...cannot wait.
In fact, the only problem I have with Live right now is the slow pace of new Live Arcade titles, though on the positive side, if they came out too fast there wouldn't be enough time to enjoy them all!

Yeah, Contra's on the list. Looking forward to that as well.

now if contra comes out, especially with coop, i would go nuts on the level of the sf2 people. however, i would take randomviolence off of my friends list....

I'm certain Contra will have Xbox Live-enabled co-op when it's released. It'd be too silly of them not to.

How about Final Fight co-op on Live. That would make my day!
