Might still be a market for this genre throwback.

It's helpful tho to realize these games existed in that form because of the limitations of the technology of the day.

I'd rather see studios put their effort into trying to capture similar gameplay via taking the shackles off the genre making the most out of modern tech.

Maybe a 3/4 view with movement in 3D rather than top-down. Maybe remove the rails, I dunno.
