Hey EA, i know this is a bit off topic, but where do you find these movie statistics?

EDIT: This is not me questionaing your source, but if its a website, i think it would be cool to check out.

I don't think that EA uses this one specifically, but I use BoxOfficeMojo's standings page:

Wow. I hate Jennifer Aniston, so this does not bode well for me. Of what I could tell, critics hated the movie too.

Gah, I cannot believe people go to the movies to see this garbage. My fucking guy friends all went to this last weekend because it "looked like wedding crashers without that other guy". News flash: not every Vince Vaughn movie should be seen on principle.

That's a huge dropoff for X3. Haven't seen it yet myself, and won't get to this weekend either since the Missus will be AFK.

I listened to an interview on NPR with the soldier that filmed The War Tapes. Very interesting stuff. Also interesting how he was not able to say "I support the war."

X3 was bound to have a huge dropoff. Biggest holiday opening + no holiday weekend = sad 2nd week ticket sales. I don't really think this is an indicator of quality (I think any movie would have dropped that much, myself).

I haven't actually heard much about the guys that made the film, but the concept interests me.

The X3 movie sucks, I think I left the theatre in shock. Felt like I was watching a hatchet job of a movie. Sure there was some sap in the first 2 but they didnt suck lol. I am guessing thats why they are dropping off fast, all of us die hards went and its not getting much good lip service so no more peeps going.

I would go into why it sucks but then id be spoiling it for folks.

The people who went to see The Break Up need to get a fucking grip. They'll never reclaim those lost hours spent ogling at Hollywood farce.

Saw MI:3 last night. I thought it was really great. One of the most intense movies I've seen in awhile.

Saw it during E3. Thought it was by far the best MI yet but it seemed more like a TV movie to me.

Eh, Vince Vaughn can be pretty damned funny sometimes. I don't find the actress entertaining at all, though.

'Can' being the operative word. By all accounts he's about as funny as crapping a hedgehog in this movie.

I've heard people say that and I still don't get how it comes across like a TV movie. It has high production value, good acting, an intense script, all the things you never find in a TV movie. I feel like people say this when they know the writer/director worked in TV (people said the same thing about Serenity, but I'm not buying that either).

Ah, District B13. I've been waiting for this one for a while. It's supposed to be a 'French' Ong Bak. If I remember correctly, the Ong Bak DVD did pretty well here in the states; I think action fans are hungry for some true martial arts ass-kickery as opposed to the CGI fests of the Matrix's or you-name-it.

Saw X3 during a matinee today, only me and 2 other guys in a 100+ person theater, it was awesome. Never have I had that sort of luxury, I think I am going to see more movies at that time (or at least the movies I really want to see, there is still a social aspect to going to the movies).

Enjoyed it, action was a bit scarce but the stuff they had was good so no complaints really.

I saw a trailer for Snakes on a Plane last weekend when I saw X-Men 3.

It felt like they made that trailer just for me, it was like saying. "Hey you, guy on the internet. This movie is just for you."

Which is why I will proably go see it.

If your EA name is Drinking_Buddy, I think you are required to see Snakes on a Plane.

"I've had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane!"

'Nuff said.

Gah, Ong Bak. That movie was shit. I... aquired it, for free, no cost to me (ran it at night, and I had other reasons to have my computer on, so literally no cost), and I didn't even watch all of it. I can only imagine the pain of someone who actually paid money to see it, in one form or another.

I thought MI:3 was good, although not as good as the first one (I actually enjoyed the fact that the plot of the first one wasn't completly simple). I did somewhat dislike the fact that you start out with a later part of the movie, and then go back to the beginning (and no, that's not a spoiler, because you literally start out at the later part). I don't understand the "TV Movie" comparison.

X3 sucked. Now, I say that as a fan of the first two movies. Maybe, if you hadn't seen those before, and came into this one fresh, maybe it would be better, I couldn't say. But I think most people who see X3 will have seen the first two, and there really isn't any comparison.

Yeah X3 seemed like it was a jumbled mess, it was just all over the fucking place. And they ruined Beast.

X3 was disappointing. In fact, I was more disappointed in that one than in the last Star Wars Movie, because at that time I didnt expect much. I knew going into X3 that it wouldnt be too faithful to the comic story, but I didnt expect the two dramatic departures they did take; had I known, I would not have watched it, just due to those story elements; I am trying to avoid spoilers for those who havent seen it.

The Breakup was decent , the best part was Jennifer Aniston walking around naked..nice tight little ass on her.
