Justice League Heroes is an action adventure game with role-playing customization featuring Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Zatanna and other unlockable Justice League super heroes. We put on our cape and had an early look at the game, here is a snip :
Superman has access to his superbreath, heat vision, and punishing melee attacks, while Batman has several gadgets that allow him to daze enemies or move around the battlefield. Green Lantern can defend himself with a dome of energy, hem opponents in with a force cage, or simply fire off plasma bursts; Wonder Woman can use wrestling moves, her lasso, or her tiara; and Flash can move at superhuman speed, augmenting his melee attacks or leveling a group of enemies at once with a tornado. Martian Manhunter and Zatanna both have the most interesting and varied powers; he can shapeshift, fire mental blasts, or turn intangible, while she can transform enemies into rabbits or slow down time.Check the full Justice League Heroes preview (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=34165) over at WorthPlaying

Why didn't they just call it Justice Leauge Legends, or DC Ultimate Alliance?

but the million dollar question is, can you play as Booster Gold, because if you can then they already sold one copy.

I doubt Booster Gold will make the cut, sadly. Maybe for the sequel?
I'm looking forward to this. Sure, it's an X-Men Legends rip-off. So what? I'd love to play that style of game in the DCU. Hope it turns out as good as X-Men LEgends.

I agree, as long as they put work into it this should be a fun game. But c'mon... you HAVE to razz them a little about ripping off the Legends formula so blatantly.

This looks fun. Legends II was fun.
The novice comic reader (ok, actually I have never read a comic, or if I did it was a one or two time occurance) in me asks how would Superman ever be in danger of death? His only "weakness" is Kryptonite, right? Does this mean that all the enemies will have a supply of the stuff at their disposal?

I'm no expert on Superman, but at the very least he is VERY vulnerable to both mystical and psionic attacks.

Yeah. Supes can be done in by Kryptonite, Magic and Psychics. It looks like a good game. Very fun at least. Especially what with X-men Legends proving so good, it's about time DC did a similar game.

Maybe a little... but as long as you don't write off the whole game for it (unless you hated Legends, in which case it's only sensible). Hell, I wanna play as Green Lantern bad.

Hmm, I must be the only comics fan to think the Legends games weren't all that great...I played both fairly extensively with my friends and to me they were just average dungeon crawlers with an X-Men skin. The combo system was never that rewarding IMO, either. I'll still give this game a shot...maybe with the two character system, the hero interaction/combo system will be tighter. That, and you can play as the Flash.
And I'll still pick up Marvel Ultimate Alliance simply because I can play as Thor.

I'll probably pick it up once it drops to $20, but not before then. I own both Legends games, and I'm already sold on Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Since this is coming out at essentially the same time as MUA, it is going to result in a very distinct divide between Marvel and DC fans, but I'm glad everyone is getting a game to play.

I've always been annoyed by that divide. I'll probably get both, but probably both for cheap later on.

Ive been following this game for awhile and I am looking forward to the release.
There are some things that set the game apart from the x-men games. No potions being one of the cooler ideas. It's more of a "Halo-type" system. The Dev's really seem to be enforcing the story elements of the game more than we usually see in a crawler like this.
A big plus for me is that Snow Blind is developing the game. With Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance 1 and 2 and the Champions games under there belt, It should be a fun ride for comic fans.

Actually, Raven who developed Legends copied their formula from Baulder's Gate Dark Alliance which was developed by Snowblind, who is working on Justice League ;)
I loved X-men Legends by the way, and looking forward to Justice League!

Certainly arguable, I suppose. :) But yeah, either way both X-Men Legends and Baldur's Gate: DA were good, and I imagine this will be too.

Oh my god! Do we have another Booster Gold fanatic here? One who can see Booster as a hero who likes to live it up? One who cares for his friends and the people he protects? And a superhero who is funny as hell? Someone who is glad he's finally hit the big time in 52?
If yes, then I love you. :D
Seriously, it would be awesome. Oh and the games doesn't look to bad either.
