This is starting to look like it won't completely suck. Maybe. Still, aliens? Why? Do we really need aliens?
Now that I think about it, yeah, this is gonna suck. :P

Uhm, Tiberium has always been alien :P I don't see it as that much of a stretch honestly.

Actually, Tiberium was extraterrestrial in origin. It is not a lifeform as we know it, nor is it currently classified as intelligent life. If you want to be pedantic :P then I do not want to see intelligent alien life in C&C. And I had read a few weeks ago that we would possibly see such a thing in this installment.
Yes, I know Tiberium Sun had a crashed alien spacecraft. That was enough. :)

That's true. But what's wrong with aliens? But there's an equally good chance the "special race" they come up with is an expansion uppon the mutants in Tiberian sun. As they havn't said anything about adding aliens, I wouldn't be getting uppity just yet.
Besides there is more dire concerns to worry about. Like the fact that no EA RTS in recent memory has had anything remotely resembling a decent Multiplayer experience. They always end up with absolute horrid connectivity, tons of bugs, and lack of support.

Uppity? Expressing an opinion on what I like does not make one 'uppity'. Don't be a douche. I am not particularly fond of 'aliens' - that is, extraterrestrial intelligence - in C&C. Other games where I feel it suits the game world? Sure. Not here.
By the way, ever considered that maybe, just maybe some people don't play C&C for the multiplayer experience? And that they might not share your level of concern for this feature? Shock, horror!
Step outside your own little world for a change. And your parents basement.

^-- uppity. And it was a comment said in passing to describe your opinion of the "aliens" when they have not even been confirmed. Not an insult, so don't get so offensive. It's an internet forum afterall.
Quite honestly you way over reacted.
Also acting like a concern for multiplayer is a "small little world" kind of view is short sighted and pretty ignorant. Many players really enjoy multiplayer. A solid multiplayer adds quite a bit to sales. Sales means more C&C to come, which I would like to see happen.
But seriously, calm down. You took something personal which you really never should have. Take a chill pill, sit back, and take a deep breath. If you get that offended over "uppity", the internet is not a place for you my confused friend.

An interesting screen grab, but it's not as sharp as the other ones have been.

Werent there dinosaurs in some cutscenes on the original C&C disk? I always liked the concept of tiberium in C&C games, I hope this has a storyline and units similar to the original, with an upgraded generals engine.

They are going with the BFME engine I belive. Heavily tweaked tho. I just ask for crisp gameplay. Don't turn it into a lag fest even on low settings.

Didn't BFME use the Generals engine?

That Generals engine filed charges. You aren't allowed within 500 yards of engine playgrounds or schools anymore.

I believe the engine used in General is called Sage.

Aliens were inevitable. And if I'm not mistaken, they were talked about in Tiberian Sun.

I was only convicted because that judge was a hippie, Generals-loving fool. Bastard.

Thanks for that, but I wasn't 'upset' doctor. You see, you need to be recalibrated. I said that 'just maybe some people don't play C&C for the multiplayer experience?' Do you or do you not know the meaning of the word some, and it's logical inclusion in a sentence?
I never informed you that your concern for multiplayer consisted of a 'small little world' - I was merely informing you that your assertion that there are 'more dire concerns to worry about.' is your opinion, because multiplayer means something to you. Don't go thinking that I, or anyone else, shares your POV. Hell, for that matter, I had an excellent time with Red Alert 2 MP - so I disagree with your statement specifically too.
Internet? Thanks for yet another opinion! But I think I'll stick around. But I will however, stay away from you.
Redline - you really are just trolling or seriously letting off some steam.
You made some points, but why taint it all up with a personal aggressive style?
Does it make you feel better?
