The first two players noob out hard forgetting that there is Left and Right Fierce Trigger buttons :p

I have just purchased some X360 Cabled USB controllers for use with PC gaming and as a high button number Nunchuck Remote.

The X360 Controller works well for SF style Games but I really prefer the Snes Pad Thumb Cross to the POV Hat Switch on the X360 Control.

That game does look shocking graphically though why not slap SFA3 on live instead of Hyper Fighting?

The new dashboard navigation looks sweet though why no mouse cursor?

Because most people agree that SF2: Hyper Fighting is the best Street Fighter game.

Bleh, nostalgia whores... Street Fighter gets better with each iteration (not counting the EX games).

I'll take the MvsC series or the SNK vs Capcom series any day over classic Street Fighter.

Do you use the analog stick or the d-pad?

You can use either. I find the d-pad much better, but what I really want is a big fat joystick.

I wonder if they can make it so that it supports widescreen format so there's less scrolling...

Street Fighter is great, but I agree, I'm not clear on why Hyper Fighting is such a big deal here. I would have much prefered one of the Alpha iterations. Or perhaps something new?

So what make "Quarter Mode" different than online play or is it just slang for online play. I had heard rumors way back when that it would cost a quarter (in microsoft points that is) to play online and assumed a winner stays type approach. Has this been claried or is it all just heresy.

That looks really awesome. Aside from the fact I absolutely suck at Street Fighter, it seems like an awesome concept. I think I will need to get a 360 now.....

Because they can still package and sell SFA3 for more. Jesus all I want is SF3 (all 3 editions) and SFA3 on one disc.

I will be a very happy man.

You're catching on my young apprentice. It's called milking. Suckle from the teat and all will be fine. Remember, there are more teats.

Online quarter mode?

Very depressing. First, you have to buy the game. Then, you have to pump virtual quarters into it to play?

Forget it.

Err, you're not *ACTUALLY* paying. You know that right? At least I'm pretty sure. They're literally virtual quarters. You don't purchase them or anything. It's just to simulate the arcade atmosphere.

No quarter mode is like a mini lobby where a small group can play in a winner stays on stylee.

I presume it means that you can see the fight going on (Spectator mode) and chat as a group.

Exactly. You're not actually paying extra for it, though. BTW, welcome to the site, Darth Sonik! :D

I really liked the "quarter" mode in DOA:U. Growing up in acrades, I just dont think fighting games are the same unless you're waiting in line to get your ass kicked (or vice versa if you're lucky).

No it just has a frame to keep the original aspect ratio.

I have to hand it to MS...with Live Arcade, they've handed developers the ability to mint new money off of older intellectual properties like Street Fighter. I love a bunch of these old-school games; I'll be all over it when it's available.
