Any chance of getting a transcript or a breakdown of the talking points?

It's a pretty long interview, I don't think they have a transcript of it. If you're having trouble finding the episode, you can download it quickly on iTunes (the episode form 6/1/06). The interview starts about 20 minutes into the podcast.

maybe we can just get some of the highlight points. I'm at work for another few hours so I can't do it right now, if anyone else wants to do it, go nuts. :)

I would definately like to hear what he has to say. I'm dieing for some new arcade titles to come out (Where the heck is Texas Hold 'Em!) so maybe he talks about upcoming releases.

I know they ran into some Legal issues with Texas Hold Em with the sponsor. I believe they are trying to get a new sponsor.

One thing he did talk about it Street Fighter 2 and how they want to make it run perfectly before releasing it (i.e. lag). Basically, it'll be done when it's done.

Dang, I figured something was up. I thought maybe they had to delay it because of that Xbox Poker game that came out and they were afraid noone would buy it if they could get a free one online.

Xbox Live! Arcade is just amazing on the 360, and there is so much cool stuff you can do with it.

Bring on the Commdore 64 games!!

I just tried Zuma for the 1st time. That is now my favorite Arcade game by a mile!

Better than Geometry Wars, etc. Very surprised.

I agree that Zuma is great.

But how is it that you never tried Zuma before?

Too many games. Too little time... :)

Zuma, Bewjeweled 2, Geometry Wars, Uno and my favorite odd-ball game Wik sure make me warm and fuzzy for having a 360. I know, I could probably get these games (or something like it) on the PC, but it's not the same. Leaderboards, Achievements, simple network matchmaking. It's great!

Long live The Marketplace!

I have that exact problem. I still haven't started Tomb Raider, Rockstar Table Tennis, FIFA, Tiger Woods, The Outfit, Hitman, or get very far in about a half dozen other 360 games I have. If you look at my gamercard, those are all games I own. The ones above haven't even been put in my system yet because I have no time to properly dedicate to them, so they are just sitting there, waiting...

Marble Blast is also really good imo.

Yeah, I won't be saying "I'm bored or can't find anything I like" any time soon.

I have easily probably 10+ titles (likely more) that I like to sit down over a weekend and finish. And that's not including the ones that can keep me coming back to hone my skills...

I've probably logged about 40 hours on the Moto GP demo and the game isn't even out yet.

I'm running through King Kong tonight (at warp speed, God this is easy)hoping to move up past 61st on the Evil Avatar Achievemnents board!

Ha! It's finally happened. I haven't cared about achievement before... Now I realize they need a Friends Leaderboard for Achievements! Wonder why they haven't thought of that. I have about 100 friends, but I don't know their rank. I do know who is number one. He has about 29,000, but after than I'm not sure.

King Kong is OK, but I just want the 900 points I don't have yet. I see a few 1,000's on my friends list so I figure, how hard can King Kong be???

Maybe that's the 1st step on the road to being an "Achievment Whore"... I feel so dirty...

There is no exclamation point in Xbox Live. There never was, at any point. This still baffles me.
