I don't see any "3D effect slider"? Maybe it's digital?

Love the analog stick, and the gunmetal gray, very nice. Touchpad now has three virtual buttons along the bottom: "Select, Start and Home" prossibly meaning the 3DS will feature "channels" similar to the Wii interface.

And you can clearly see the double camera on the back! Nice! This will be most people's first 3D camera in their entire life! Which is perfect because you can instantly view the shot in 3D you just took.

I see a round dot at the top of the top screen, which appears to be a facing camera. Is that what you be talkin' bout, Willis?

There's a white switch on the bottom right corner of the top screen. Kinda looks like a volume slider, slides to off.

Good call, I did think that one was the volume switch.
