Article here (http://www.pixelpoppers.com/2010/12/doing-my-dailies-why-i-quit-wow-and.html).

"Daily action builds habits. . . . Small improvements accumulate into large improvements rapidly because daily action provides 'compounding interest.'

Skipping one day makes it easier to skip the next. . . .

Think for a moment about what action would make the most profound impact on your life if you worked it every day."
—Brad Isaac (http://www.persistenceunlimited.com/), Jerry Seinfeld's Productivity Secret (http://lifehacker.com/281626/jerry-seinfelds-productivity-secret)

Myself, I quit WoW only by beating Illidan for a server first, when there were no more bosses to beat. That was a great feeling, but it also gave me perspective--that top of the mountain feeling of "wow, nowhere left to go from here."

Shortly after they released the next dungeon, and I've been in there but not past the dragon. But my heart wasn't in it anymore.

My dwarf pally tank still has some 40,000 gold on him, and Illidan's shield :P

So read the article ;)

Thats funny. This is how I work out, and I also treat my to do list and long term goals as quests...

I use to be addicted to WoW. Killed me in the classrooms one semester but after that, I've kept it on a good leash. As with all things, if you practice moderation you are fine. It is a fun game for me and that's all that really matters. I really just play for the story and development of the world now, not really interested in dungeon running for gear or even raids anymore.

Lost 30 pounds from quitting wow for a year. It only took a few weeks to finish the new content of cata (minus ZZZzz raids) so I'm done with it again and there was no damage done ;)

Yeah, there's no way to really raid part time. Well, not when I played, unless beating Kara was an achievement for you (my fastest Kara run sans basement was under 2 hours). We'd multi-pull trash, all kinds of shit. Pull entire rooms :P Pally tanks are great like that :P Overgearing an encounter sure has a way of making you feel ossum :P

Damn, those were some good times ;)

Course, that's all part of the addiction. Real life accomplishment is more important to me now.
