Can't you like cover your car in rubber-lined canvas and shake it off in the morning? I'd build a temp structure rather than literally dig out every day, don't know how you guys do that.

Home-made flamethrowers are legal in the United States. We need them in our fight against the Africanized bee and um...they are also straight up HOT! I can't believe some guy killed his family with one dressed as Santa Claus a few Christmas' ago. I mean that was just one incident...we need our home-made flamethrowers. Srsly lets make one. I spent three hours cleaning my driveway today, a job that normally takes 30-40 minutes. Thanks to the high wind that keeps blowing, I've got at least another 1.5 inches blown on. Drifts suck.

Drifts suck.It took me about an hour to dig my car out. There was a drift covering the front half of the car. Drifts suck.

Shoveling snow is one of my favorite things to do. There's just something about being up really early, all bundled up and sweating your ass off trying to get it done in time to get back in the shower and get ready for work.

It's practically a tradition here in Wisconsin.

i actually know what you mean. i find its kind of a zen like meditation thing trying to get yourself going at the right pace where you dont burn yourself out.

though this storm it was like shoveling concrete the snow was so wet. mailbox is still buried but i guess a plow didnt smite the shit out of it for me so tahts always a plus.

Yeah, in the past I've laughed at neighbors who seem to take shoveling a little too seriously but as I've gotten older it has become VERY Zen-like (excellent wording).

You just kind of get into a pattern and go with it, always looking to improve it in the interest of time, energy and neatness.

That's nothing compared to the Danish island of Bornholm. Some places there are piles of snow 9 metres tall. The island have been declared in a state of emergency, with supplies having to be flown out by helicopter.

That's just crazy amounts of snow.
