The dumbfucks told everyone to log on the 20th to be entered for some grand prize, first mistake. Second, well they also rolled out a new store page format that looks dumbed down for consoles (especially Ipads with those "page turning" features) and is a much bigger pain in the ass to use. It doesn't even remember which page you were on. Fail.

This thread is for all the bitching about steam running like shit today so I'll keep it out of the sale thread. ;)

I submitted them as news, tho the list is incomplete. Steam crashing too frequently and it will have be updated by mods.

The sales are beyond insane and show us truly how greedy publishers are with new releases.

The Ipad/Iphone is barely a portable. You may rank it as a console but it sure as hell isn't. (Although I agree with the shit they make us buy like the new xbox's hardrive...I can get a 1 terrabyte hardrive for the same price as a 250 gb XBOXXX hardrive.) The day they are the same is the day I quit gaming.

And yet the great unwashed masses are dumb enough, even with 2 years of repeated steam sales, to continue purchasing games on day one. Why the hell would their greed go unchecked when they get such positive reinforcement. 5 maps, which may or may not even be new, for $15. Direct digital downloads for $60. Fuck that noise.

Personally I'm annoyed that FO: NV is only 25% off. But very happy to see BF BC2 for ~$7 as we come into the wide release of BF:BC2 - 'Nam.

I don't find the interface very annoying at all. The front page is a bit annoying, after that it's a rather well thought-out way to present a ton of information in one spot using a book-metaphor of turning pages.
