Can you run "it (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/)"?
I sure as hell can't. :P

Come on you know you want to post them...

The gaming box is also my casual interwebs box.

I've got a phenom 2 black clocked up to 3.2, 8 gigs of 1066 DDR3 from corshair, I run a basic asus Xnoar sound card because it has a built in processor for buffering and to ease system load, and it just sounds better than onboard shit. Everything in the case matches with blue LED lighting against black matte.

Keyboard is a Razer Arctosa, Headphones are Razer Carcharias which were a good deal at the time but they are made poorly. Sound quality and mic are insane... but EVERY single join on that thing has gone slack over 6 months and it doesn't stay on the head well anymore at all. My mouse was a Razer Diamondback but that was replaced by the NAOS 5000 which is superior in every way, especially comfort. Thank you gogamer sales!

That new video card is replacing an old XL8 black edition GT250 1GB. I honestly wasn't planning to replace my video card till the GTX 580 comes out but this deal is too good to pass up and will allow me to coast along until the 580s come down in price. PSU is aq Rosewill Green edition 750 that's whisper quiet. Last but not least I'm replacing a 6 year old plextor dvd burner with a nice blu-ray/lite scribe ready one.

I'm going for a RAT 7 to replace my [original]Diamondback. I still believe the Diamondback is one of the best mice ever but it's time to move on. That NAOS 5000 looks nice but I prefer the claw grip and the molded side looks like it would be in the way.

You can expand, replace, or remove the sides of the NAOS but it's a mouse for wide hands that's for sure. The material on it is the same black grip finish razer uses. Being able to customize the LED inside it to match the rest of my system sealed the deal for me.

Dude can I just replace my GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 with the one on sale? Do I need to replace my processor as well? Or should I just get a new pc next year? I may not be able to buy this right now but I will if I finally switch over.

also...my shit stock 2 year old pc has lightscribe I never use it though since it demands I buy only certain types of blank cdr's.

That all depends if it's integrated, what kind of motherboard and PSU you have, Ram.....

See how much one has to think in order to put together a powerful PC? It's like working on a car and wondering if you can just slap a TT into an old Stealth RT you picked up.

You can buy a console for the price of just the video card and save yourself all those questions, but over the long run you end up paying more in $DLC, hidden fees, online subscriptions. Some people just don't want the hassle, and others understand the rewards.

Processor is a AMD Sempron(tm) LE-1250, 2.2Ghz
Memory: 1918MB RAM
I have no idea what my motherboard is...don't I have to take it apart or something?

Yeah sounds like too much of a hazzle it's why I picked up a PS3 actually. (and then my 360...after I returned the ps3)

Fire up your start menu, and in the search tab type "dxdiag."

The reason why you need to know your system, Video cards have very strict minimum requiremets and are power hungry. The entire rest of my rig takes maybe 4V where that video card could take as much as 9 if I used the overvoltage software bundled with it. Then you have to factor in if you need a new motherboard that supports all the features, which could cause you to be forced to get new ram and a new processor too if your new motherboard is a different socket. If you get a new processor then you'll need a nice aftermarket cooling unit for it and silver grease. ALL of your components may require more power which you might not realize until after you've bought them making you basically start all over.

After you've considered what needs replacing on the inside, you need to consider a new case with better cooling for that newer hotter fan and all your expensive equipment. Luckily, all one person needs to do is educate themselves on what's required. In the case of consoles you void your warranty the second you go poking around into unknown hardware. When I open my system up I know where everything is because I put it there... tho I might not always know what went wrong with it because these days the parts are getting cheaper. I've had a jumper shoot across the room before like a bullet and shatter a decorative plate that was sitting on a book shelf.

That was quite informative lockwoodx. Oh and I tried the dxdiag (it's what I use to know what any pc runs on) here's everything.

To tell you the truth I wouldn't know the first thing about opening up a PC or changing it's parts. How simple/complicated is it? Either way I have to clean the fan and it's covers so I need to open it sometime this week.

Depends on your case. Could be anything from 20 minutes to hours plus a room full of dust and paper cuts all over your fingers.

BTW after looking up the model of your computer, you should just start over from scratch. Post a budget if you're serious.
