Whoa, best looking DS game I've seen!

And before Kamalot The Krazy Krusader unleashes his hellish attack one me: I actually double-checked and reloaded my Pikmin save 20 minutes ago. Yup, it looks better, Pikmin ONE looks better than Elebits.
This is Cubivore level of graphics :(

Yeah... I know its not all about the graphics... and that game is following a certain "style" but... yeah, its pretty fugly, regardless to style.
All the gravity things about this game seems good, but i'm not sure about the graphics.

All it needs is AA and some better materials to look passable, both of which you'd like to think Wii could accomplish. But then this isn't Nintendo's baby, so there's no reason to slam the platform for Konami's game. We know the hardware can do better.
And looking like Katamari Damacy isn't a crime if it also is as fun as Katamari Damacy.

Katamari Damacy was only worth playing for the soundtrack. Hopefully this Elebits thing will not have similar glaring control issues.

That is the wrong-est statement ever made by man. You deserve a prize.

LMAO! I don't think I've ever been a big proponent of Wii graphics. In fact, I think the Tony Hawk game looks N64 awful. I never got an N64 cause of how ugly most games were compared to my PC.
And yes, Pikmin is a beautiful game.

German to English translation, thanks to Babel Fish:
Elebits for Wii of Konami is an original development for NINT DOS newest home console. The play connects a new kind of strategy with the innovative CONTROLLER. The player must find and catch small, energy-producing creatures with the help of the Wii remote named Elebits. Elebits for Wii is published in Europe 2007.

Looks ugly, but also looks potentially fun. But the rather lame dancing elebits video was the antithesis of the the sort of charm a game like this needs, so I'm far from sold on it.
Jesus, all Wii games look like they come from the same mold. These games somehow actually look worse than Gamecube's.
This particular game looks like it's running on N64.

Those graphics are a bit rough. Hopefully it'll look a bit better in motion. But I'm intrigued by the idea and will be keeping an eye on it.

Slightly off topic but those shots reminded me of all the awesome levels for TFC that replicated an entire kitchen with you as the size of a mouse. Fun stuff.

If you discount Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Smash Bros Brawl, Sonic Wildfire, Red Steel, and pretty much every game we have seen with the exception of this one, I would agree with you.

I wouldn't mind gamecube quality from Wii. I think this generation is vastly untapped, with the exception of the junky PS2.

Wii is a good value. It will be cheap and will have fun & innovative games. Count me in.
And I mean, things could be worse. They could be charging us 600 dollars for crappy graphics like sony is.

It's not about graphics. It's about visuals.

I played this at E3, short line if you can imagine.
Anyway, it sucked. It was nowhere near as precise as it should have been. Near impossible to do anything with the Wii-mote.

I call bullshit on this. In order to see this, you would have had to wait through the massive Wii line. There were not seperate lines per game. Back under the bridge, troll.

For some reason the look, including the interface, reminds me of Chibi-Robo.

Seems like a lot of developers are going with the theory that people who are going to play the Wii don't care about graphics, so graphics don't really matter. While this may be partly true, that doesn't give them the excuse to not even try to make halfway decent looking games. Gameplay over graphics for sure, but come on! They can do better than this!

Have you even seen any screenshots?what are you arguing? That there are Wii games that don't look exactly like gamecube games? You are wrong. The only one that even comes close is Mario Galaxy, and even that looks like it could be a late gen GCN game.
But who cares, right? The Wii is not about graphics. The Wii is about pointing at shit. And holy moly, this game looks like it will take the pointing at shit genre to new heights!

Heh, indeed.
Elebits = Half-Life 2 mod for Katamari Damacy.
Have you even seen any screenshots? And played all but a few at E3.

It is so boring having graphical "advancements" being the standard on which all immature knee jerk reactions are based. I know they are the easiest way to judge something you know nothing about, but hearing it constantly being used for the geek version of dick a measuring contests gets pretty old. To all the people who mock the game for their graphics: I hope you enjoy your photorealistic Call of Duty 15 and Project Gotham 7. Perhaps you can put them side by side so you can settle once and for all which one's visualizations would most satisfactorily sodomize you.

Wow dude... got bitter?
I'm pretty sure the Wii is about fun games. Not all consoles can be about siezing control of a media format and fucking consumers.
