EVE Online?

So me and 5 RL friends have been playing EVE for about 3 months now. I'm the CEO of our little corp, but I feel like we're starting to get in a rut just running missions all the time. We have no PvP experience yet. I've been thinking maybe we just need to join an experienced corp to have more fun. Anyone here at EvAv run or belong to a good corp?

Yikes you just happen to pick one of the most unfriendly games for new players. It's hard to get into corps because nobody trusts anybody in that game. That's about all I can offer.

Haha yes I am aware of some of the more colorful incidents in EVE's history. I've followed the game for a few years, it's always intrigued me, and just decided to pull the trigger a few months ago and suck a few friends into it. The learning curve is extremely steep but we've all found it to be rewarding. I just know it won't be fun doing missions ad nauseam. I guess I just need to convince them to save up some ISK, fit some PvP gear and venture out into 0.0. I'm sure we'll get blown up a bunch at first, but so far everything else in EVE is just jump in and learn as you go.

But as a note to any EvAv people who play, we're not into the whole NBSI thing. So if you're looking for friendly contacts in New Eden, just let me know.

Unfortunately, every night my gaming sessions seem to be getting shorter and shorter. And with another new baby on the way (number 5!) I fear I might be relegated to "former" gamer status.

If I had time EVE would be the game I'd play most of.

14 kids. That's the kind of family where they end up having like 129 grandchildren >_>

I can't even begin to imagine the logistics of a family like that... I mean. You can't -ever- go anywhere together. Ever. Maybe if both parents drove a gigantic extended van that seats 8.

Then, imagine they live in a house with one bathroom.. errrr. That would be hell. And then the sleeping situation. And buying clothes.

Still, it would still be fun to have such a family, no doubt full of personal satisfactions at times.

I've been playing EVE on and off for probably about a year now. Right now I'm looking to get into some factional warfare just for the fun of some PvP. I have almost no experience in PvP, but definitely looking to try it more often. Unfortunately the next two weeks look bleak because of finals.
