Have you not heard of WarRock? War Rock is a Free2Play massively multiplayer online, modern tactical first person shooter (FPS) where players have the option to purchase a wide variety of gameplay enhancing items, services, and products. The open beta for this title is slated for July, 2006! Some new screenshots and a trailer has now been released for you to check out more details on this game.

Alright! It does look good for a free game but I guess we'll find out what's it like in July.

Already got it with the pre-E3 codes. It's really great for a free game but they still haven't included planes or helicopters! :(

I played this a few months ago... didn't realize it was supposed to be "restricted." ;) Back then, there was just a "Download the game now!" link on their website, and anybody could play.

Regardless, I was really impressed. It doesn't have quite the polish of a BF game or anything (vehicle physics were horrible, and there wasn't much of a squad interface), but for a free product, they did a heck of a job, and I imagine it's only getting better as they keep developing it.

I think a game like this would just be frustrating. It's free... but only until you start getting beat by people you had no chance of ever winning against because they spent 100 dollars on invinco-armor and you didn't...

Yeah, everyone cheated in WarRock. It was pretty much required to stay alive for more than a few seconds. There were also lots of issues with lag.

I played this awhile ago, it's great for a free game but most of the servers were laggy as hell.

it's cheesy. it's Q3 gameplay in a battlefield2 setting.

Hey, you can post whatever you want bud. Just tossing in an opinion on the subject. Next time, you might want to make it a bit less dry and advertisement sounding.
