I was hooked on NC when he did Raising Arizona. Not a fan of everything he has done BUT I have given everything at least the once.....fanboy??? view.

He does batshit crazy very well IMHO. :p

Not a huge fan of Nicolas Cage, but he did a pretty solid job in The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans (http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20091118/REVIEWS/911189997/1023). Definitely worth a watch if you're into dirty cop movies. He's still playing a crazy role in it, the clip shows a two scenes at 1:37. The crazy laugh and the waving the gun at old ladies, the latter occurring in a nursing home.
