It's great how there is practically zero coverage of this in the US. I have to watch a stream of Al Jazeera to get meaningful news now... When I asked people about this earlier today no one knew what was going on but they were excited about Dancing With the Stars...

NK is an abortion of a state, the sooner ended the better. If a foreign power were starving another group we'd all be outraged, but when a country does it to their own everyone looks away.

There's nothing legitimate about a country that would rather spend money on its military when people are dying of starvation in the streets. Conditions are truly deplorable there, children picking bits of undigested "food" out of human waste floating by in open sewers.

Escapees from NK to SK say they quickly come to realize that they've been living like a frog in a well, with no idea of the outside world. Their government lies to them, holds total powers of life and death over them, exercising total coercive power over the "citizens", one might rather say "in-mates", of this "socialist paradise".

What's more alarming is the internal propaganda which mirrors the racial superiority dogma of Nazi Germany. Many of you will be stunned by that statement and think me guilty of overstatement, I assure you it is not. The NK's are telling their citizens that Koreans are the master race, destined to rule the world. This is beyond dangerous.
