Finally! One of my minor annoyances with Gmail has been addressed via a new Gmail Labs option. From Lifehacker (http://lifehacker.com/5674465/set-gmail-to-auto+advance-to-another-message-after-archiving-or-deleting), you can now set Gmail to auto advance to the next newer or older message upon archiving or deleting. I'd long ago gotten use to Gmail's keyboard shortcuts to handle quickly handling messages but this is a welcome if somewhat late addition.

Advancing to the newer/older message of a mailbox filled with spam just make the spam more visible :)
