How surreal would it be to become the model for one of the most famous characters in video game history? GamersInfo.net (http://www.gamersinfo.net/)'s Kipeo had the chance to ask Karima Adebibe, the model for the latest Lara Croft, Tomb Raider:

First thing she asked us, in her delicate British accent, was if we minded her sitting on the floor. You see the gun belt and pistols she had strapped to her thighs — as cool as they look— were actually a bit uncomfortable when sitting in the director’s chairs, so Karima got down and knelt on the plush carpet in Eidos’ meeting room. What’s it like to be such an inconic figure and the embodiment of many gamers’ fantasies. In a word…”fantastic”. Lara is the ultimate icon and to be associated with her is like a dream come true for Karima. Yeah, saw an interview with her on Attack of the Show a few months ago before she went off to some of this training. Pretty amazing stuff she went through and, honestly, gives me a lot of respect for her despite the whole Lara Croft thing.

And the amusing part is they were asked whether they wanted to interview her as Karima or Lara. So, give them some credit for choosing to interview Karima.
