Is it? Rain or heavy rain? I am confuse...i think i downloaded a cg trailer @ marketplace but not sure whether it's this game.
The game should be multiplatform.
1. Their history prove that.
2. Visit http://www.quanticdream.com/ for their company background.
..but the developer sounded before in an interview, he prefer developing for playstation 3.

Mmm, that's pretty. Any word on style of game? is it a Fahrenheit-like game with gorgeous new graphics? I'd dig that.

I feel like I just took a hop and a skip though Uncanny Valley.
That was amazing. I was slightly creeped out through the whole thing. I can't even imagine a survival horror game looking like this.

Holy shit.
I must go and finish Fahrenheit!
I liked the conceit for the trailer, made it one of the more interesting I've seen for a game. And the animation went from slightly off, to just stunning.
I've been waiting to be creeped out by this whole uncanny valley thing, but I guess what creeps most people out just fills me with awe. Seeing the animation done that well... Well, it's not only what I want from the type of game these guys try to make, but I'd love to be able to do it myself.

Having finished Farenheit - which ill add, was enjoyable simply because its a break from the "norm", among many other positives - I'm excited to hear the studio is looking to keep pace with another unusual entry. I really appreciate the focus on story telling, which it appears this will continue. I don't mind a 10-15 hour movie for my money, assuming its fun to interact with, and the plot keeps you going.
That was a brilliant trailer, tech demo, concept piece, im eagerly anticipating the final product. My one pet peeve however, is Valve's lip synch tech, which utterly puts the mouth movement in Heavy Rain to shame. I think had it been implemented here, the suspension of disbelief gets notched significantly. Its a minor gripe, but god it would look so damn good.

That creeped the shit outta me.
Then again, I've dated women like that in the past. It's a bad idea.

Are there 2 videos of this? because I saw the one with the woman pretending to be in a auditioning for a part. But her face looked bad and its lip syching was way off, the entire face and glowy eyes and her mouth had weird things going on in it. Are there 2 of these trailers? Because what I saw doesn't sound anything like what people are describing?

Sony is just f-n dumb to show some old-ass GT4 gameplay at their conference and not this.

Truly amazing!
These guys are real masters at motion capture, no doubt.
If it comes close to Indigo Prophecy, with this kind of graphics...
...That will be one sweet game!
Forget First-Person Shooters, I'm not looking forward to any of them.
I really believe there needs to be more story oriented, adventure type games, like Indigo Prophecy.
Just more original ideas, for a fracking change!...

Why would they make a multiplatform game the centerpiece of their presentation?

I guess I'm in the minority but I thought Indigo Prophecy was pure ass. It wasn't fun to play (in fact it seemed to have been designed to be aggravating rather than enjoyable), and the controls felt broken. The story was utterly stupid but dipped heavily into "this story must be told!" pofaced pretentiousness. Digital actors cannot act for toffee and cannot carry the weight of any kind of real emotion at this stage in videogame history, sure it may be a step in the right direction but the "B+ for effort" scores it got don't really represent what I felt was a mediocre title.

So the lip-synch was WAY off, but if you manage to ignore the video as a tech demo and just watch it and attempt to suspend your disbelief...
Creepy. Shit.

Yeah, you are in the minority. ;) Nah, I understand what you're saying about the story, which, in my opinion, alternated between just on the verge of great and terrible. But I totally disagree about the gameplay. I LOVED the system the game had and I'd pay money in a heartbeat to see that implemented in another adventure game with a better more complex story.

It definitely fell apart towards the end (Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit).
This looks awesome. I loved Indigo Prophecy.
Video gamers should have no trouble accepting bad voice acting. This is an area that has seen massive improvement in the last decade.

What we're seeing now as far as acting and storyline is a progression towards Hollywood Films. Just check the Double Agent trailer or Alan Wake's trailer (which also looks creepy/awesome).

Creepy. Shit.
It sounds like we are talking about the same video, but what is creepy? Darn it what am I missing? Is there some monster or something in the back. The woman looks sort of creepy, but nothing supernatural or something. I wish I could see this one everyone is talking about. I will look for it. The one I keep downloading is some girl pretending to be a new actress, and its just boring.
