Don't be afraid. There are only 6 new Screenshots (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12572) of the XBox 360 version of F.E.A.R.

I still think this game was over-rated. I much preferred Condemned as a horror FPS. The pacing in F.E.A.R was just off.

But condemned was so boring and linear. And they always told you which crime scene investigation tool you had to use instead of making it a bit more open.

fear was quite entertaining

Couldn't run this on my PC so i guess I will give it a spin on the 360.

I loved this game, the feel of the gunfights were really good. I can't wait to play it on hardware that can run it at above 20fps and still have all the graphic efects turned up.

Condemned was linear, and the CSI elements weren't very interactive or interesting. I still really enjoyed the game, though. Something about it really sucked me in.

Didn't play fear on the PC and am really looking forward to it.

I didn't really like this game. Bought it when I upgraded my PC, along with Half-life 2. Needless to say, Half-life 2 got WAY more playtime. F.E.A.R. was too linear, and too repetitive.

IMO the pacing is great. When in most games enemies come at steady flow, in F.E.A.R there are parts where you just explore the surroundings and then parts where air is thick of lead. For example when you fall into the sewer/maintenance area, there were no enemies there and you just had to find a way out.

Dunno about being overrated, at least the people i know that have played F.E.A.R liked it. Maybe a little, but not HL2 or Gran Turismo overrated ;)

I greatly enjoyed FEAR, but the linear nature combined with the uninteresting environments made it a one-time ride. The gun battles were among the best I've had in an FPS, however.

Indeed.

I thought that Condemned was a little too slow. I still havent gone all the way through, but I have to say that FEAR was more fun thus far.

It wasn't so much the enemy concentration it was the actual horror elements of the game. Beginning of the game. Spooky freaky all good. Then it's an action title for 9 levels. Then it's spooky freaky and stuff for the last level. I was disappointed.

Man, you guys are tough, I thought FEAR was great. Sure it was kinda repetitive in the office complex, but for me the really viceral combat kept me playing. It was just damn fun. Fighting the guys with power armor on the harder difficulty levels was just crazy. Also, something about how the guns fired and sounded, just felt great Oh and I was on a ton of pain killers, which I'm sure lessened my ability to get winey about repetitivness. :p

Just checked out the game's gameplay videos at gametrailers.com...the particles seem less defined...cool framerate though...

I'm really looking forward to this title. It's nice to see great looking FPS coming over from PC that aren't destroyed in the process. HL2 on XB was a great start and F.E.A.R. looks amazing. I'm glad I don't have to spend $1000 to upgrade my PC to play. :D

I liked it, but was expecting more supernatural things to happen. The gunfights were great, some of the best I've had in a fps. The game seemed more like a shooter with some "ghost stuff" thrown in. I was hoping for more horror and shit-my-pants moments.

Since I'm a Linux guy, I never did play the original PC version. Therefore, it's very cool that this game is coming out for my X360. I will definitely pick this up.
