Steam Error: Game is Currently Unavailable

So after using Steam from its birth without any problems I suddenly get this crap.

"Steam Error: This game is unavailable please try again at another time"

Now I've tried every little fix I can find online and nothing works. It happened out of the blue I havent changed any hardware or software and it makes no sense. It seems to only be Source related games, TF2/CSS/Portal/Zombie Panic/DOD, they all don't work. L4D2 runs fine though... Last night I was able to get TF2 to run when somehow DOD:S decided to run. I alt tabbed and ran TF2, it did a mini update then worked once I closed DOD...

I can't even think straight right now I am so damn pissed off about this...

Deleting the ClientRegistry.blob file is usually a sure-fire fix, but it also removes any non-Steam game shortcuts you might've had.

I like the idea of simply changing which region you connect to first, as this sounds like a network issue. If it works after you change servers, then it's most likely an issue with that and you can revert in a couple of days.

Deleting clientregistry.blob fixed it usually for me. ALso, there is a game (can't remember which), where I had to turn off my firewall because the firewall was blocking a port it needed for that particular game.
