It starts off with the desert, everything destroyed. Someone is walking to twords the camera. Cortana appears, and says something about how she is now a God. Or something. More destroyed stuff. Then you see it's Master Cheif walking. Cortana says she is your sheild, your soul. Then the camera turns around to millions of Covenant ships flying overhead, and activating a huge Forerunner arctifact that was burried in the desert.

Wow, then it really is quite pretty! I'm impressed that the Xbox360 can show off such great visuals so soon. Bungie must have had very early access to everything about the Xbox360 and MS probably gave them lotsa cash to hire excellent engine programmers to suck the most juice from the system. Halo3 is so important for MS in the PS3 vs. Xbox360 battle. And now with GTA4 too? They seem to be on a roll!

All the Halo cinematics have always been real-time, so it only makes sense that this is representative of the final game, even if the scene doesn't turn out quite like what is shown because of gameplay or plot changes (as happened with the Halo 2 E3 real-time demo).

This is what I am saying. I want Bungie to go against the cliches with this game. I would fucking love it if the opening cutscene showed Earth being absolutely decimated just as Master Chief arrives. A bunch of escape ships make it off the planet before it is destroyed, leaving Master Chief with the task of ending the Covenant while saving the remnants of humanity.

Of course all of this will be irrelevant to me as I will not play this game unless Bungie puts more effort in to the single player. No more bullshit playing as an Elite levels. I want to play as Master Chief only. And I want the original pistol and assault rifle to return (at least the latter looks like it has).

Why on earth would you want the original pistol back in the game? Because you want a overpowered pile of shit? Seriously why? I hope they don't get rid of the battle rifle for the assault rifle. The assault rifle is just a smg that looks like a rifle.

Maybe because the original pistol was fun and the pistol in Halo 2 served no purpose whatsoever?

That was a massive dissapointment.. Guess i got too excited about it. I was never a fan of the first two games and thought that they were overhyped..
I guess i was hoping to see some gameplay..
